Get xTOPAZ
There are two entry paths on BNB: deposit liquid TOPAZ, or wrap a veTOPAZ NFT you already own. Both add permanently locked backing and mint xTOPAZ at the vault's current share rate.
Entry is enabled on BNB. Get xTOPAZ by depositing TOPAZ or wrapping an eligible lock, optionally bridging in the same source transaction. One confirmation handles approval, waits for its receipt, then checks and simulates the entry transaction automatically. BNB fork entry has been signed; mainnet wallet execution and destination delivery remain separate verification work. Network availability.
Deposit liquid TOPAZ
- Choose BNB and the amount of TOPAZ to deposit. Keep BNB available for gas and any bridge fee.
- Check that entry is open, your balance is sufficient and the vault has valid backing. Review the estimated xTOPAZ shares at the current rate.
- Review the one-time unlimited TOPAZ approval to the deposit router, if needed. Confirm once in the dapp and follow the wallet prompts; the entry transaction is simulated automatically after approval.
- Confirm the deposit and wait for the receipt. The actual share mint establishes what you received.
A deposit increases the vault's aggregate permanent lock. It does not create a separate veTOPAZ NFT for you. Very small amounts can round down to no shares and must not be submitted.
Wrap an existing veTOPAZ NFT
An eligible lock must be a normal lock, owned by the submitting wallet, and either permanent or unexpired. Managed NFTs and NFTs still deposited in a managed lock cannot be wrapped directly. An expired lock should use its ordinary withdrawal path.
A lock that voted in the current epoch must wait for the next epoch. A carried-over vote must be reset, and resets are blocked during the first hour after Thursday rollover. Entry can be paused independently of the aggregate's voting state; entry itself can remain open while the aggregate is voting.
The preferred wrapping route claims the selected NFT's pool fee and incentive rewards to its owner before merging it into the vault. The vault synchronizes settled rebases before calculating the final shares. A long rebase backlog may need repeated claims before wrapping can proceed.
The source NFT is burned. Unclaimed rewards keyed to it may become inaccessible. Resolve missing or failed reward reads first. The interface blocks any lock that has ever joined a relay, including one withdrawn back to the wallet, to preserve historical relay payouts.
Review the NFT approval carefully
The wrapping router uses setApprovalForAll on VotingEscrow. This authorizes the router across all veTOPAZ NFTs owned by that wallet, not just the selected NFT. The router acts as operator while the user still owns the NFT, claims the listed rewards to the owner, then lets the vault perform the merge. Check the router and chain before granting this approval; it can be revoked later.
This differs from the reusable ERC-20 allowance for a TOPAZ deposit and from approving an individual concentrated liquidity NFT to its gauge.
Enter and bridge in one source transaction
A combined wrap-and-bridge or deposit-and-bridge uses BNB for entry and sends the resulting shares through the hub adapter. Review the destination, recipient, native messaging fee, bridge precision and any xTOPAZ dust retained on BNB.
The estimate precedes the transaction's rebase synchronization and final share calculation. A successful source receipt establishes actual minted and sent amounts; destination delivery is a separate step. Approvals are not explicitly simulated. After any approval receipt, the entry transaction is checked and simulated automatically before the wallet prompt. Source simulation does not establish destination delivery.
After entry
Keep the accepted transaction hash. The interface has receipt checks for saved single-hash deposits and wraps, including after reload. A historical receipt describes what happened in that transaction; it is not your current balance. Unsupported or ambiguous records must not be treated as a successful mint.
Continue with Bridge xTOPAZ or Stake and vote. Swapping an arbitrary token into xTOPAZ through the separate xTOPAZ zap is a contract capability outside the initial interface release; the concentrated liquidity zap creates an LP NFT instead.
