Topaz Auto

Topaz Auto

Topaz Auto puts concentrated liquidity on autopilot. Each vault holds one concentrated position in a Topaz pool and keeps its price range around the market. You deposit both tokens or zap one, receive vault shares, and can withdraw both tokens at any time. Gauge emissions are passed through as a separate claimable balance; they are never added to your principal.

Where it is live

Topaz Auto is live on BNB Chain, Robinhood Chain and Arc, with Base and Ethereum planned next. Each vault belongs to one pool on one network; the Topaz Auto overview lists every vault with its managed value, Auto APR, time in range and last rebalance.

To find pools with a vault, open Explore with the Auto filter: the Emissions APR column becomes Auto APR and every row carries an Auto badge. Pool pages show the vault beside the pool’s own figures.

How it works

One managed range per pool

Each vault owns a concentrated position in one Topaz pool. Its range is chosen by the strategy around the current price, so the liquidity is dense where trading happens instead of spread across every possible price.

Rebalancing

When the market moves outside the range and the pool is calm (its spot price agrees with its recent time-weighted price), the keeper withdraws the position, swaps part of one token for the other and opens a new range around the new price. During a fast move it waits rather than chasing the price.

Shares track your slice of the vault

A deposit adds both tokens in the vault’s current ratio and mints shares for exactly that slice of the vault. Shares are ERC-20 tokens; your position is whatever fraction of the vault’s principal they represent at the moment you look.

Emissions stay separate

The vault stakes its position in the pool’s gauge, so it earns gauge emissions rather than trading fees. Emissions accrue to each holder in proportion to shares held over time, as TOPAZ on BNB Chain and xTOPAZ on Robinhood Chain and Arc. Nothing is sold or compounded: claiming leaves your deposit unchanged, and withdrawing never requires claiming first.

Auto, custom range or full range

When you create a concentrated position in a pool that has a vault, the range control offers Auto, Custom range and Full range, with Auto selected unless your link or saved state names a range.

  • ✓Auto: the vault sets and resets the range. You hold vault shares, earn emissions and never manage ticks.
  • ✓Custom range: you pick the ticks and hold a position NFT. You earn trading fees while unstaked, or emissions once staked in the gauge, and you reset the range yourself.
  • ✓Full range: the widest range, never out of range, with the least capital efficiency.

See Concentrated Positions for managing your own range and Staking in Gauges for emissions on a position you hold.

ℹTopaz Auto is not Topaz Vaults
Topaz Vaults autocompound rewards into the position. Topaz Auto manages only the range and passes emissions through unsold.

Auto APR

Auto APR estimates the vault’s share of the current gauge rewards over its principal at market prices, after the vault’s reward fee. It excludes trading fees and compounding, and reads zero while the range is out of the market or the vault is paused. Each vault’s reward fee is shown on its overview page; a scheduled change appears there as a pending fee before it applies.

Auto APR is a live estimate from the current gauge rate and prices. See Risks and numbers.
